A technical VFX breakdown focusing on the seamless integration of rigid-body dynamics into a live-action plate. The goal was to achieve a photorealistic interaction between digital wooden blocks and a real-world interior.

Technical Workflow:

Tracking: Executed high-precision 3D camera tracking in SynthEyes to handle the handheld camera movement and provide a stable ground plane.

3D & Physics: Rigid-body simulation and look development were performed in Blender. Custom wood shaders were designed to match the ambient indoor lighting, using Cycles for final rendering.

Compositing: Final assembly and color integration were completed in After Effects, focusing on realistic shadows, motion blur, and grain matching.
